I'm actually scared to think all SUV's and big cars will be replaced by small scooters...they pollute MUCH more and are as noisy as hell...if you want to experience that, come over to Cyprus, other than China Cyprus must be the world capital of stinkin' scooters. The problem is at lthat here these road mosquitoes don't require MOT (road worthiness&emissions tests) and most of them push out more smoke that Victorian era chimney..
Most are very old and hardly maintained with wobbly wheels and such. The only place I saw with more scooters was in Milan , IT but at least there most of them looked newish, well maintaned and mostly 4-stroke..

As for "No Economic Recovery Possible" because the oil is getting finished, I find that very hard to believe...If we look at what happened after the 2nd WW for example and what's happening now...Most European countries were in shambles back then and yes there was the Marshal plan but it was also a lot of hard work and economies reinventing themselves. West Germany went on to become one of the most developed economies, through what is known as the "Wirtschaftswunder".

Sometimes, we just need to renounce our own beliefs (that we need 3 ton SUV's to drive around in , 30 cubic feet refrigerators, big houses with all but zero insulation and many more things)
Of course i'm not referring to us ecomodders but we all need to change something in the near future.

Check out the bloke speeding past 'them SUV's, I'd like one of those for me-self
That's the kind of vehicles we need to replace our cars with, not bloody scooters..
