I can't think of a good way to do accurate testing without using the petro pumps. I'm glad it's working out for you. I am considering the 5th gear swap to lower highway rpms.
My tuner just (well, last week) notified me that my MAF is beginning to fail, that may/ may not be the issue.

Essentially if I do light loads my fuel consumption is crazy low (300 indicated mpg at 30 MPH) and I am still around 35~40 mpg indicated at 75 mph, I just calibrated it to what seems reasonable to me, and ignore it. I do however now own a MFA (factory fuel consumption computer) that I need to swap in. Anybody have any VagTacho experience?
