hmm 6cyl with lpg and sensible driving+some aero should net 40mpg and cost equivelent of circa 65mpg..
That's tdi territory and much more fun..
I'm also able to have track fun should i finish building the m30 3.5 setup i have.
As for the 318td i'd rather walk!
the 325tds is ok apart from hot starting issues and an£800 fuel pump that doesnt like veg..
Later 320/30d's treat turbos as 100k service items.
Vag tdi if its cheap and available in the next month, or i go back to e30..
Not bothering me too much at the mo as have 15 countries to do in 10 days plus a stag do:-)
