Use the OEM Type WS, the Toyota brand. I've looked at different alternatives and even tested Amsoil ATF. Toyota Type WS has values more like aircraft turbine engine oil:
2003 Prius - Cold Weather and Transaxle

The last two columns are the Type W oil and the results from the first, 60,000 mile change. Since then, the owner has gone through two more and is getting much improved results.

The viscosity numbers at 100C and 40C are the tell of a quality oil:

24.6 cTs @40C
5.5 cTs @100C

I've looked and this stuff is great. Heck the Type T-IV (what I'm supposed to use in our NHW11,) wears down to the Type WS starting viscosity. But when Type T-IV has worn down to that level, it has become a 'lapping compound.'
