I drove a 63 Rambler about 100 miles on I 80 in the early 70's. Ran it at 70 mph and got 25 mpg.
I bought a rambler ambassador with the 360 engine in it in the early 80's. It was not that great with mileage but it would really go for a fairly big car. Paid 300 dollars for it.
