25-30 mpg
I'd take the truck. It is probably much cheaper than a car anyway.
BTW: I haul firewood in my truck and still get good mileage. I get 20-22 pulling my tractor (John Deere M), plow, and disc on a flatbed.
I don't have any belly pan or bed cover either!
