I loved my w123 wagon, it was a diesel but with all the complexiity of of a ham sandwich, it ran on SVO, had no timing belt, distributor fuel injection, Mine was an auto or as called it 'point and shoot' it may have had sod-all power but it kept going..... and going and going, loaded with engines/gearboxes or friends or furniture I don't think it ever changed down for hills and I lived in the lakes at the time!!
