I'm not sure on the losses, and I'm sure if there are any at all it will be minimal, but I'm taking off the A/C belt now. I'm tired of it automatically turning itself on when I go to defrost setting and won't be needing it for several months. Figured I could get more life out of the belt by simply removing it for spring/winter/fall.
