My favorite method, from my motorcycle training, is to find a way to pull over.

Take a break, listen to the radio, whatever. Give it 3 minutes, you will likely catch up to them again, and you managed to lower your blood pressure and increase your safety.

You will want to do this with the engine off of course.

This is good for A$$#0les and Idiots. (Remember, A$$ are in front of you and idiots are behind you.)
