Wow, I've had incidents that are similar to that, but nothing that escalated to anywhere near that point. That guy was nuts.

PS - Your stable of 4th generation Civic hatchbacks is one of my favorite all-time Honda designs.

My favorite method, from my motorcycle training, is to find a way to pull over.

Take a break, listen to the radio, whatever. Give it 3 minutes, you will likely catch up to them again, and you managed to lower your blood pressure and increase your safety.

You will want to do this with the engine off of course.
