Right MOD DONE!!!

no pics as my SD reader has died

but the top grille is completely blocked bar the lowest slat ( as I did with the last polo) the lower grille looked a lot more blocked than the petrol versionSO I only had to block the centre.

Also - I was going to put a foam strip along the leading edge of the bonnet to stop the air getting in there..... no need those clever Germans had already thought of that and put a rubbber mating seal across there.

next idea is something a friend suggested - Duck tail taping. Basically taking a strip of duct tape fold it in the centre of chord leaving the out quarters exposed. One quater goes on a side edge and the other goes on the back edge of a panel - its supposed to act a bit lke a VG and a mini Kamm extension.....

as soon as I get some grey duck tape I'll give it a go!
