your (gps) navigator displays 866km/h (538mph)

All right, this wasn't in megane, but in a plane from Paris to Toulouse. It was at the end of the climb, then it stayed at around 833km/h (517mph).
I just wanted to know what was the fastest speed used during the travel in the A321 I was in and if the GPS chip could manage such a high speed. Sadly the navigation program was always trying to put the "car" on a road...
