EV mode will kick out once you get above 35 I believe, 40 mph for sure. To re-enter it you would have to stop the car and flick the switch off and on again. Otherwise, its just is normal hybrid mode and the kit is charging the pack constantly. IMO I like to have these features on separate switches, but theres no problem with combining them.
