I do have a vtec-e solenoid hooked up but because I don't have the correct exhaust manifold, 02 sensor, and no EGR valve, plus a P08 ECU (have P07, but not hooked up), vtec kicks in at 5,000 rpm, which I very rarely go to. I do have an aftermarket rpm gauge hooked up that's why I ask. Would a stock CX gauge cluster have a shift light in it? for when I hook up all the proper stuff and P07 ECU?
