I've used them on my 1990 turbo Grand Prix to eliminate the brake dust and hours it takes to clean that dust out of the basket weave rims that came on that car. Never had an issue with the brakes on the car even though it was 3200lbs and only had 9" rotors front and rear.
I got those a few years ago but then I removed them. Recently I put them back because the pizza-pan covers collect brake dust like mad from the front disk brakes. The dust makes removing/reattaching a mess.
