...here's something gleened from the EPA window-sticker on our 2011 Cruze LTZ:
• Expected range for most drivers (highway) 29-(36)-43 mpg.
• Expected range for most drivers ( city ) 19-(24)-29 mpg.
• Combined Fuel economy (55% city/45% highway) 28 mpg.
...that breaks down as:
• Highway = 36±7 mpg...so, roughly, Sigma = 2.45 mpg(H)
• City = 24±5 mpg.........so, roughly, Sigma = 1.67 mpg(C)
...and, remember, those numbers are for the 6-speed automatic; only the lowest model (LT) and the Eco have manual transmissions available.
