Vanden-Plas 4-Litre R - the R bit being Rolls Royce who supplied the engine.

Unfortunately the engine in this example is about as good as the ones on the A380 being an overhead inlet - side exhaust design.

It was a stupid white elephant of a thing, very slow selling. It was so bad that sometimes people trading theirs in would find the new one had a lower chassis number than the one they were exchanging.
