So far I had managed to keep my mileage above 48mpg since the repairs to my car, but winter has set in a bit early this year and it has left its mark
FE is down by almost 3.5 mpg (eq. to 0.4L/100km) on the latest tank.
With the drop in temperature, the tires were down to a
mere 2.5 bar/36psi, and I could feel the extra drag when coasting.
So I inflated them to 3.1bar/45psi again.
The ScanGauge calibration seems to have worked.
On the latest tank it was only 0.6L off the mark for total fuel consumption, while the average was spot on (i.e. error smaller than 0.1 L/100km) and identical to the car's OBC.
The weird thing is that the SG is always indicating a lot higher FC than the OBC
