Well, I had hoped to stay above the 47mpg it's rated for.
I had been toying with the idea of getting a new - even more efficient
- car, but I've decided to keep the V50 for another 5 or more years.
That means winter tyres are a worthwhile investment with all this frozen global warming fud on the ground, so I put a set of Michelin Alpin A4 GreenX tyres on the Cordelia 16" rims I took off in September.
The bloke at the tyre center was more than a bit surprised when I asked him to put 3 bar (43.5psi) in them
I've looked for the maximum rated pressure, but it's nowhere to be found on the tyre
We'll see what mpg they return on the considerably lighter Cordelia rims.
The Alpin A4 doesn't seem to be available in NA yet.
