I did 3 miles in 2.5 hours yesterday with the same gridlock running Jnr to school. And as soon as I got home the school called to say it was closing. By then it was snowing thickly so I walked back and then walked him home. Lucky I did because in between home and school is a big dip and even buses were stuck with wheels spinning.
Still at least I wasn't stuck on the motorway for 8-12 hours like some of my customers.
