I just learned something. "The groundhog (Marmota monax), also known as a woodchuck, or in some areas as a land-beaver, is a rodent of the family Sciuridae, belonging to the group of large ground squirrels known as marmots." It's not a tree squirrel, but it's a member of the Squirrel family.
Electrification has a lot of potential value for the performance enthusiast. But for now, the Leaf is heavy and slow and won't win a race. I figure it will be Mazda or Honda who first offer a vaguely affordable, sorta fast, electric drive car in the form of a PHEV Mazda3 or Accord.
