Way to go! Too many people fail to consider the value of their time and the fuel cost of a commute when setting up their lives. To them it is all about the knee-jerk reaction they have to a larger house farther away from work. Sadly though many of them end up spending just as much money a month as they would have living closer to work because of the cost of transportation. I look at life as being a limited budget of time. You can spend that budget working or you can spend it enjoying your time. The choice is up to you. I prefer to spend it doing the things I love rather than commuting and working more than needed.

No green technology will ever make a substantive environmental impact until it is economically viable for most people to use it. This must be from a reduction in net cost of the new technology, not an increase in the cost of the old technology through taxation
