I already think about it. I don't just buy the cheapest thing available, I research the product, the company behind the product, where its manufactured, how it got to the store where I i'm going to buy it. It's called being a responsible consumer, more people should do it.

I agree 100%. any politician that values short term corporate profits above the long term welfare of the people has lost the ability to govern effectively. Vote them out.
