I recently got some of the Bridgestone RE92's, the Insight ones, 165/65-14. They tire place put them at 30psi and I drove home, it didn't feel right. As soon as I got home I put them at 50psi and they felt much better. 400miles later I needed to take one off for another reason, so I inspected the tread wear. The center rib of the tire still had the little nubs left on it from the wiskers, the outer ribs did not, even at 50 psi the center rib was not seeing the same amount of wear as the outer ones, hmm....
