I guess they didn't study me. $31.49 on 12/08 for the Insight, and it's still got about half a tank. $48.59 on 11/13 for the Toyota pickup, and its needle's still on full :-)

Seriously, though, I have to say that I haven't seen any sign of food price increases, but then I buy mostly raw ingredients and cook from scratch, rather than buying convenience foods, so maybe the increases are going to the middlemen, rather than to the farmers.
