So I was looking around on line and saw another XFi 2.5 miles from my house, for sale! ($600 bucks) if you're wondering by the way?
So I go over there, thinking- maybe I'll buy it if it's descent. It wouldn't start, "out of gas", so I went and got some and we put it in. While he was cranking it, fuel was just "chugging" onto the throttle body with every crank of the engine!!!! My Dad and I did exactly that today, here the "prime" of the pumps on both cars, but with mine NOTHING, NO FUEL today when cranking it! It was clearly visible, and when it started finally- it was swoosh with the throttle when opened. That was the "coolest thing" id seen all day!!!!
That is where I'm going to focus my energy tomorrow, getting that thing off- making sure it's not clogged, and or get it to work or replace it!
"It's got to have fuel to run" One of the basic needs of an engine, thanks Buddy! "KISS" Keep it simple stupid!!!
