Yeah, and another thing to keep in mind is that we are not only talking to the person we directly address in the post. We are also talking to the lurker that may be reading the thread and considering the mod. In that case it helps to mention the pitfalls, even if it's redundant in relation to threads that have already attempted similar mods.
