the new car design is likely very superior to his metro converson.

But the Metro conversion we're all swooning over seems much more usable than what appears to be a ultra high efficiency experiment. While we may generally only use a small fraction of the available space of a sedan when only the driver is in the car, havingthe extra space just in case is convenient.

For a while the only vehicle I had available to me was a motorcycle with a large milk crate strapped on. While it may have been efficient, it was hard to bring home groceries on it, and I certainly couldn't take the family anywhere.
