Honestly, I think it was inevitable, given the original question and the forum itself that a minority would drive automatics, that efficiency would come up, and that at least a few people would take it personally.
I don't think either of them started out sounding so... well, we've all been reading it... but it only takes one misunderstanding to get the ball rolling, and then...
well, its just a good thing this all is by internet, and not in a bar.
