You can swap the muffler for a straight pipe for more weight savings and an even flatter underbody for the bellypan. With the TDI, the turbo and cat quiet the exhaust nicely. I did it on my car and it is not loud. You may notice a nice whirring noise if you stand by the tailpipe at shutdown.
