That is some factory prototype so I believe those are only ment tho hide the new design of the wheels :/. Not for serie production or model.

But if you leave little gap between rim and hubcap, brakes can have enough cooling air.

Zipties are painful to put on because I have to reach behind the wheel to attach them. The worked fine and were very durable and light, but I don't think they would meet aesthetic criterion (at least not my implementation).
