What you say makes sense, euromodder. My empirical data shows the bike on front did not destroy MPGs. Apparently the trailer cleans up the wake. Granted my data with this configuration is limited to 4 trips totaling 2,000 miles. The "hit" is maybe 1 mpg from a baseline of 16. Eventually I will have more data but performance so far has been very encouraging.
