Why the hell would you live so far from work? Might I suggest buying a Geo Metro 3-cylinder 5-speed 2-door hatchback as a new commute vehicle? If you can get that kind of mileage out of that brick I'd love to see what you can get out of a Geo Metro. At the rate you drive you'd have the car paid for in about 3 months, if that.
