I don't know why Metros are such a target, but this is getting crazy! My white one was sideswiped TWICE! The first time, the guy came and gave his insurance info- we ended up friends I'd say: he's the guy I got my orange VW from! Then I got sidewiped AFTER I fixed it up, on Christmas Day no less. Not cool. No note, nothing. Just ripped the relatively new mirror clean off that I isntalled about 6 months ago. Then on New Year's a guy drove up on our lawn and busted up the fender, headlight trim, and smashed the turn signal on my wife's car- green 94 Metro. Police never caught him. Then this. Of course, there's still the 11 or so batteries that were stolen a while back. Then there was the time about a year ago that some guys lifted up the back end of my 93 and let it drop, damaging the rear bumper. I think I could solve all these problems if I had a garage. I have a brand new CD player waiting to get put into one of my cars, but with all the thefts I don't think I can risk it.
