...unfortunately, even then you
really wouldn't
know how much fuel had been used until you refilled the totally empty tank...and then the exact answer would rely upon where you "stopped" filling the tank, ie: (1) to the first "click," (2) at the second "click," or (3) when the gas reached the lip of the opening, etc..
