No. The Earth's internal fire is fueled by radioactive decay, not by oil combustion.

Carter's Interior Secretary Andrus massively increased federally protected lands days before RayGun and his professional rapist James Watt rode into town to gut environmental protection in Alaska and elsewhere. I was living in Alaska at the time, and the pro-development/anti-development wars were just as strong as they are today in Alaska.
