It would be good for someone to take an un-fixed metro chassis and make some measurements of the suspension points so that a "broken" one could be repaired to the correct specs, given the lack of repair parts.

Yeah like take a metro in good shape, make a plaster cast around both control arm mounts and create a bending form to create a piece that fits about that whole area and welds to more "stable ground" further back and further up from the rusty death zone.
