Be nice if I could find someone who has our car ( 92 -95 VX ) and try their O2 for a mile or two to see what affect it has on the issue... Just to proof the O2 and then proceed with the wiring testing from there which will likely take considerable time...
Testing the O2 doesn't take too long, if I remember right it basically requires a couple probes into the wires, start it up cold and check voltage, let it warm up, check voltage again. If both values are within a range, the O2 is ok, if not, replace it.
