My bad - DTI of that age is 100hp not 120. BTW do they have gearboxes ? Diesel engine (redline 4,500 rpm) + petrol gearing = governer cutting in at under 70mph and not good FE.
Some euro spec Opel / Vauxhalls with this engine had 6-speeds with up to 30+mph / 1000 in top and with the torque available from the Di/DTI it still pulls quite well.
