That's what it was. There were apparently a few rare ones made. Ours was a rental out of the Petaluma CA airport. I flew in a lot of small planes in Alaska, and know the difference between the 150/152 and larger high wing Cessnas. See the linked photo.
Google "Cessna 152 RG" and you'll find links to 152RGs in Oregon and Maui, too.
