Very Interesting
you said "quart jar of gas to the vacuum lines "

ummmm , not gasoline , its too explosive when it vaporize and the vapor pressure is very lowwww on it but ......i am dabbling with other mixes ,, Soup i call it

RE: water injection Snow performance makes some very big claims about it , even in NA[naturally aspirated] machines using Methanol/Water mixes

but here is a grass roots system i like the looks of
Kiwi Style
MW50 to the Vacuum System

Water Injection By Robert Mann
consultant ecologist

search 'water Injection+New Zealand'
you might hit it
claims some significant FE increase ,, 15-20% ,some one should test it and see if it proves ..

...
seems like your manifold vacuum is not so good , i run about 15 INHG at cruise ,
i have a quart jar with a mix running to the intake manifold
don't mess with no stikin vacuum line, goes straight from the pickle jar to the intake manifold ,MW50 , Castor Oil and MMO[mystery Marvel Oil ] in it now .

soon i plan on running trials with Top Fuel in there.
see the thumbnail below

we shall see what we shall see...
