Applying rust removal work last night. Went to remove one of the new wheels and the adapter just broke. Combination of lazy garage using air tools and crappy design perhaps.

The socket tube had split along its length so I hammered it back roughly to shape and added a spot of weld to hold the two sides together.

Naw. Split again.

So I have to buy a 17mm alloy wheel socket (£7) just to get my own wheels off.

This did not generate "happy" language on my drive earlier.
