Someone at work who just won't shut up.

I'm going to start using my "working from home" rights more I think...

Returing to work after 700 miles, 3 days and copious beers.

Soerely tempted just to drive off again.

Applying rust removal work last night. Went to remove one of the new wheels and the adapter just broke. Combination of lazy garage using air tools and crappy design perhaps.

The socket tube had split along its length so I hammered it back roughly to shape and added a spot of weld to hold the two sides together.

Naw. Split again.

So I have to buy a 17mm alloy wheel socket (£7) just to get my own wheels off.

This did not generate "happy" language on my drive earlier.

If you mean make the lever longer thats what I did and thats when the socket failed.

I have a nice, shiney blue one on my desk which fits the nuts.

I shall try again tonight.

And apply the Waxoyl this weekend.

I drive by and pick up those bags for MY compost. They take a detour through the chicken house for some "enrichment".

My annoyance: timid drivers.
Yes, that's a turn ahead. Your car will not fall apart at >2 mph around the corner.
That's a leaf in the road. No need to brake for it.

Had to look that one up.

Today's extra-special annoyance: El cheapodero company issued laptops slathered in so many corporate-standard "protective services" that they barely have enough free CPU cycles to compute pi to 4 decimal places.
