Arturasz, when you pulse & glide you accelerate to more than the average speed you want to have, then you put the transmission into neutral and glide until your speed is 15-30 km/h lower, then you put it into gear and accelerate again. Some ecodrivers shut the engine off in the glide phase, but it is not advised to this until you feel good with engine-on gliding. Also, turbodiesel engines shouldn't be turned on and off too often, so it would be better for you to practice gliding with your engine on.
Since your engine is usually cold, you should have your grilles blocked and have thermal insulation around the engine - just enough to keep it from overheating (depends on time of the year).
When you go to the ecodriving rally, warm up your engine just before your start - drive 20-30km, for example.
