One tip I learned from Euromodder was to adjust to halfway in between predicted and real, so in your case it would be around 29 litres. The SG shows a % difference. Using EM's technique I'm down to <5% for each tank. One annoying aspect is that trip averages may all be over 50 but I only get 47 or less on a tank.

Anyone know how to get a tank avg on the gauge ?
