I did some pretty thorough ABA WAI testing on my xB here. Bottom line: no significant mpg difference, despite raising my intake air temperature 60-65 degrees F above ambient temps, and 30-35 degrees above stock air intake temps. Mine is a MAF system. The only benefits I've heard of come with WAIs on MAP systems, but I have yet to see any scientific testing results from anyone showing any conclusive WAI FE benefits.
