Never tried this method but I did Spray my Tahoe on the cheap last summer used the duplicolor paintshop series laquer bought a HVLP gun hooked it to my 33gallon compressor. I cleared it 5 times using a satin technique that I loved at 1st but have grown tired of. it is not a lot of money to do just lots of labor. in the past I did all of the body work and would bring it to Maaco for a $250 paint job and I will probably go that route in the future unless I had a much smaller car the Tahoe is a monster much like that F350.

5 1/2 Quarts of Color 3 quarts of clear
