There's reversing gearboxes that sit on the propshaft of a bike engined car, lots of electric reversing mechanisms and Quaife also do a chain driven unit that has an ATB differential inside it for hooking up to a transversely mounted bike engine. It works very well and gives you 6 gears in reverse! I have one in my race car if you need more info.
