Pickup Cab spoiler?

I see all these wings and spoilers on suv's, and after searching, have found that the ones that FOLLOW THE CONTOUR are worth while, however, may not help a whole lot.

That being said, I didn't find much in the way of these type of things for PICKUP trucks. I know an Aerocap is probably THE best possible solution, however, it does have some drawbacks, not to mention, many people don't want a cap, or already have something, such as I do, since they need to lock up their tools.

So, would putting a SUV type spoiler be effective on a pickup to reduce turbulence?

Links for thoughts and discussion:
A pickup cab spoiler - seems to direct air DOWN behind the cab, which for a pickup, may not be so bad as it would reduce the wake behind the cab. Downside would be, obviously, the drag created by the wing-ish part being higher than the cab.

This design is mass produced, incorperates a wing and sides similar to a short aero-cap:

Last but certainly not least, this is simply a link to a Nissan Murano site, but the wing really looks like it could be the most promising of all I've seen on an SUV.

Found this wonderfull site called edomodder.com..... found this there:

I don't know if any would be effectve really, and if they are, how much? If i'm not getting an aero cap, I may look into producing something?
