Hello,
I have a '95 Aspire that I converted to electric. I would have chimed in earlier but I just came across this thread. One thing you might want to think about is the amount of weight you add to the rear of the car. I have about 500 lbs of batteries in the back and about 190 under the rear seat, and the rear suspension has pretty much bottomed out. Someday I'd like to try to move 2 of the batteries to the front to see if that makes a noticeable difference.
